The first speaker is Professor Jacqueline Battalora. The second speaker is Peter N. Kirstein. We were addressing the current A.A.U.P. standards and documents that pertain to tenure and presented a progressive, critical analysis of those standards as it pertains to St. Xavier. We believe, however, our presentations can apply to different campuses and afford considerable insight into faculty rights and the meaning of tenure.
While Kirstein’s PowerPoint images are not readily discernible, he summarises them and moves toward a dialectic of liberation.
