‘Putting the Iraq War on Trial: The Lt. Watada Case’

Carolyn Ho, mother of Army 1st Lt. Ehren Watada, will be one of the featured speakers at “Putting the Iraq War on Trial: The Lt. Watada Case,” which will take place from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 31, in McGuire Hall.
Watada, 28, who called the Iraq war illegal and refused to deploy last year, has a court-martial trial scheduled for Feb. 5. He could face up to six years in prison for his failure to join his brigade in Iraq last June, as well as for his comments on the Bush administration’s conduct of the war.
