Faculty Advisory Council (FAC) of the Illinois Board of Higher Education (IBHE) Puts Academic Freedom on Agenda

On January 21, 2011 I have been invited to speak and discuss for an hour on the status of academic freedom in Illinois and to comment on national issues that impact on the increasing threats to academic freedom. I will focus of course on DePaul University and their problematic tenure and promotion system and Illinois AAUP engagement with this issue.
